Navigation widgets enable the user to traverse a hierarchical menu structure. Navigation targets comprise of a label and an optional icon and may be aligned to the top or bottom, or left or right, of the navigation widget.

Navigation strip

The navigation strip is displayed as a horizontal menu strip with sideways animation enabling traversal of a hierarchical menu structure.

Navigation drawer

The navigation drawer is displayed as a vertical menu. Sideways animation enables navigation of a hierarchical menu structure.

Navigation rail

The navigation rail is displayed as a vertical rail of icons. A drawer opens up to enable navigation of a hierarchical menu structure.
